Is Maths Hard 1 too hard for a Year 5 in October?
It’s a stretch this early, not a wall. Hard 1 is Stage 2 style: multi-step problems and ratio. Most Year 5s start with Easy 1, then move up in spring once they’re getting most answers right on their own.From the Maths Hard 1 pack notes
